Launch meeting of the Blue Fund for the Congo Basin prefiguration study of the Congo Basin Climate Commission
In the presence of the ambassadors of the member countries of the Congo Basin Climate Commission, representatives of UNDP-Morocco and UNDP Congo, the Director of the Center for Competence for Climate Change (4C Maroc) Ms. Rajae Chafil, as well as others technical and financial partners, Madame Arlette SOUDAN-NONAULT, Minister of Tourism and the Environment, Technical Coordinator of the Congo Basin Climate Commission, launched the preparatory meeting for the blue fund foreshadowing study for the Congo Basin , this Thursday, April 4, 2019.
This work, which aims to harmonize the points of view of all stakeholders on the understanding of the issues, objectives, methodological approach and expected results of the study that will be conducted by the Ernest & Young study firm awarded the contract market.
They will be sanctioned by the signing of the contract between the Congo Basin Climate Commission, UNDP Morocco and the Ernest & Young consultancy firm, with a view to implementing the Declaration of the Heads of State of the member countries of the said commission, signed April 29, 2018 in Brazzaville at the initiative of His Excellency Denis SASSOU-NGUESSO, President of the Republic, Head of State, President of the Congo Basin Climate Commission.
