The mission to identify priority needs for capacity building in the Moroccan financial sector on the theme of climate finance ended with a feedback workshop held on Friday, April 28, 2017, in the presence of the main representatives of financial institutions. At the end of this workshop, a partnership agreement was signed between Mr Nbou, director of the Climate Change Competence Center (4C Maroc) and Mr Firadi, director of the Institute of Finance (IDF). This agreement will allow the two signatory parties to define an action plan for the conduct of their joint activities, in particular the co-organization of conferences for the financing of NDCs aimed at the involvement of the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, and main ministries involved in the NDC implementation process.
